ll the excitement and action of another sensational meeting, the first international road race of 2015.

With Guy Martin and William Dunlop mounted on potent new BMWs alongside local star Alastair Seeley, the expectation for the official Tyco BMW team ran high.

Set against them was Micahel Dunlop campaigning the all-new Yamaha R1 with Shaun Muir's Milwaukee Yamaha team.

Bradford's Dean Harrison, a rising star of the road racing scene, was also mounted on a Yamaha, competing for the Northern Irish Martrain Racing outfit.

Previous winners Conor Cummins and John McGuinness returned for Honda Racing and Bruce Anstey went looking to continue his almost incredible unbroken run of podium places which began way back in 2003!

A resurgent Ian Hutchinson looked to be back to his superlative best on the PBM Kawasaki and young charger Glenn Irwin was quick in practice.

As those annoying social media clickbait adverts say: "You won't believe what happened next!"
